A predictable flow
of new cross-border business clients.
This document lays out an operational plan to win new business accounts for Qwid through cold email outreach, reaching companies that pay teams, contractors and suppliers across borders — reading time ~ 6 minutes.

What you are about to read is a first take, drafted ahead of our conversation to give you a concrete preview of how we work.
The prospects, signals and projections presented here are working hypotheses — we will refine them together during the engagement.

01 / YOUR BUSINESS01 — 08
We understand your DNA.
Blinq Pay (Blinqpay Technology Limited) is a UK-registered fintech founded and led by CEO Kelechi Amajo, with offices in the UK, Nigeria and Canada. Its flagship product, Qwid, is a cross-border payment platform whose promise is simple: “move money globally with ease”. Businesses use Qwid to send, receive and hold money in dozens of currencies across 100+ countries, over local rails including SWIFT, SEPA, FPS, Interac, NIP and PIX. Qwid is regulated by the FCA in the UK and FINTRAC in Canada, with real-time conversion, competitive FX and zero-fee transfers between Qwid accounts.

What sets you apart
Qwid replaces the per-country tangle of banks and intermediaries with one dashboard. Businesses run bulk payouts to whole teams, contractors and suppliers in a single transaction, schedule and automate payments so people are always paid on time, and open virtual USD, GBP and EUR accounts to receive and hold money without setting up a legal entity abroad. The edge is sharpest on the corridors mainstream banks handle worst, West Africa and Nigeria above all, where local rails and mobile money reach recipients SWIFT struggles to, at rates that do not quietly drift against you.
What we will push on your behalf
Qwid for Business, aimed at the finance owner who feels the pain of moving money across borders. The pitch is not a feature list, it is a nerve: paying an overseas team, contractor or supplier through the banks is slow, the FX quietly eats the margin, and payday timing is never predictable once it hits SWIFT. The wedge lands on a sentence almost every founder with an offshore team or an overseas supplier will recognise, “we move this money every month, and we know we are overpaying and stitching it together”. We reach founders, CFOs and heads of finance or operations at companies that visibly pay across borders.
02 / YOUR MARKET02 — 08
A market identified and qualified.
We start from the universe of businesses that visibly move money across borders: companies paying overseas teams and contractors, importers and exporters, ecommerce and marketplace operators, and SaaS or fintech platforms with international suppliers or sellers. We size it across the markets cold email performs in, English-speaking first: the UK and US as the core, a sprinkle of Canada and Australia, the English-business hubs of Singapore, Hong Kong and the UAE, the Netherlands, plus Nigeria and African-English markets (Blinq’s home corridor) and an Asian receiving-hub sprinkle (Philippines, India) where so many offshore teams sit. Germany is excluded (strict GDPR); France and Italy are better served later by separate local-language campaigns. Sized conservatively, the working universe is around 50,000 businesses.
~50,000
businesses identified
companies across the chosen markets that visibly pay or collect across borders (offshore teams, overseas suppliers, import/export, marketplaces)
~25,000
contactable prospects
after applying the 50% ratio (named decision-maker + business email findable and verified)
~412
commercial opportunities
over 12 months (weighted mean of the 4 scenarios, 4 emails per prospect)
~82
potential new clients
over 12 months (B2B average closing rate: 20%) — market headroom, not a delivery promise, see the note below
How we build this database
We cross-reference company registries (Companies House and its equivalents), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, careers pages and job ads (offshore-team hiring), import/export and shipping data, tech and startup press, funding databases (Crunchbase, Tech.eu) and the companies’ own newsrooms to find businesses that match your criteria. Every contact is then verified and enriched by AI: decision-maker role check, business email validation, and a last-12-month news scrape per company to surface a live cross-border-payment signal. Impossible to do by hand across tens of thousands of companies — this is what makes qualification possible at scale.
Why 50% are contactable
Founders, CFOs and heads of finance or operations are not always listed in public databases with a direct business email. This 50% ratio is deliberately conservative — business seniority typically yields 40% to 60% verified emails through Sales Navigator, Apollo, Hunter and our enrichment stack — so the projections stay realistic rather than optimistic.
This sizing is the maximised, defensible version of the addressable base across the chosen markets, and the ~82 figure is market headroom, not a delivery promise: with a founder-led team of ~20 to 50 people, the real constraint is your capacity to onboard and support new accounts, not the supply of leads. We can tighten it (UK + US only, offshore-team payers only) or widen it (add more corridors) once Phase 1 of the campaign has run.
03 / PROSPECT SAMPLE03 — 08
10 companies identified by our AI.
Before launching at full scale, we always start with a sample of 10 real prospects, picked across geographies and both flavours of the ICP (companies paying offshore teams, and companies paying overseas suppliers) to show the approach works. For each one we identify a named decision-maker, surface a recent verifiable signal, and explain why the prospect fits Qwid for Business. The same method is then applied to your full database of ~25,000 contactable decision-makers.
For each prospect, our AI identifies a concrete signal: a recent piece of news, a funding round, an expansion, a new overseas hub, a public statement. That signal justifies why to reach out now and provides the foundation for personalising the email.
This sample spans the US, UK, Netherlands, Canada, Nigeria, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong, and mixes companies running offshore teams (Full Scale, Beyond, Vendasta, Yempo, Vinova) with companies paying overseas producers and suppliers (Kuli Kuli, Graza, Wakuli, Urtopia) plus a Nigerian BPO collecting from global clients (Bottomline Assist) — a preview of what your full database will look like. You will have the opportunity to validate it and steer us before the campaign goes live.
01
Full Scale
Matt Watson·Founder & CEO
US software-development firm that builds and runs dedicated engineering teams in Cebu, Philippines for American tech companies.
SIGNAL DETECTED
July 2026: Full Scale was named a 2026 Best Workplace in Technology in South-East Asia, a ranking it earned “on the strength of its Filipino engineers”, with the release confirming it now employs more than 350 engineers in Cebu.
WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR QWID
A 350-strong Philippines engineering team means a large, recurring US-to-Philippines payroll every month, precisely the corridor Qwid runs cheapest. Matt is a four-time founder who is very public (podcasts, buyout), so a direct, numbers-first email lands. The hook writes itself: what does moving that Cebu payroll onto Qwid do to your FX and your payday timing.
02
Kuli Kuli Foods
Lisa Curtis·Founder & CEO
US superfood brand (moringa powders, bars, gummies) in 11,000+ stores, sourcing direct from West African farmers.
SIGNAL DETECTED
January 2026: Kuli Kuli launched Pure Organic Moringa Capsules as moringa was named a top 2026 wellness trend, a demand surge that scales its direct sourcing from women’s cooperatives in Niger and Ghana.
WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR QWID
Kuli Kuli pays smallholder farmers and cooperatives in West Africa directly, above market, an outbound US-to-West-Africa payment corridor that is exactly Qwid’s home turf and today mostly runs on slow, expensive bank wires. Growing capsule demand means more, larger farmer payouts, and Lisa owns those supplier relationships personally.
03
Graza
Andrew Benin·Co-Founder & CEO
US olive-oil brand (squeeze bottles) sourcing single-origin oil from 70+ independent producers in Jaén, Spain.
SIGNAL DETECTED
December 2025: a Forbes profile detailed Graza’s model of building direct relationships with Spanish producers and pre-purchasing crops before harvest, alongside a stated goal to become a “top-two olive oil company”.
WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR QWID
Graza continuously moves USD to euro-denominated Spanish suppliers, and pre-buying whole crops means large, lumpy cross-border payments. A virtual EUR account plus better FX is a direct margin lever as they scale. Andrew is a hands-on, press-active founder who talks openly about the supply chain.
04
Beyond
Geoff Newell·Delivery Centre Director, Beyond APAC
UK-founded Google Cloud engineering group (AI, security, cloud) standing up offshore delivery in Asia.
SIGNAL DETECTED
July 2026: Beyond opened a new delivery centre in Manila, Philippines, with the first 25 hires made and plans for 100 within four months and 300+ within 18 to 24 months.
WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR QWID
A brand-new Manila delivery centre means a fast-growing UK/Europe-to-Philippines payroll being stood up right now, the ideal moment to be the rail it runs on rather than trying to displace an incumbent later. Reaching the person building the PH operation puts Qwid in the room while the payment stack is still being chosen.
05
Wakuli
Lukas Grosfeld·Co-Founder
Amsterdam direct-trade specialty-coffee company sourcing green coffee straight from farmer groups across 13 origin countries.
SIGNAL DETECTED
December 2025: Wakuli raised a €5M Series A from ECBF and Rabobank to scale its regenerative sourcing programme and open its first locations abroad, taking total funding to €9.25M.
WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR QWID
Wakuli pays 16,000+ smallholder farmers directly across 13 origin countries (heavily Africa and Asia), the textbook bulk cross-border-payout use case, and fresh capital earmarked for sourcing means that payout volume is about to climb. Cutting out the middlemen is their brand promise, so a cheaper, cleaner farmer-payout rail is on-message, not a hard sell.
06
Vendasta
Brendan King·Co-Founder & CEO
Canadian SaaS and app-marketplace platform for agencies and resellers, with a full offshore team in Chennai, India.
SIGNAL DETECTED
Through 2026 Vendasta is actively hiring engineers in Chennai to build “a world-class AI team”, and its India page lists software development, customer support and finance & accounting all based there.
WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR QWID
Vendasta runs recurring Canada-to-India payroll and vendor flows for a sizeable Chennai team every month. A founder-led team of ~700 is big enough to feel the FX and timing cost, small enough that Brendan (very public, own blog and X) still owns the call. The offshore-team hook is clean and specific.
07
Bottomline Assist
Francis Adelore·Founder & CEO
Lagos BPO placing Nigerian remote talent (support, dev, sales, VAs) with companies in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
SIGNAL DETECTED
December 2025: a Disrupt Africa profile reported the bootstrapped startup had secured 11 clients across multiple sectors and scaled to 50+ employees serving US, UK, Canadian and Australian companies.
WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR QWID
Bottomline sits on both sides of Qwid’s corridor: it collects hard-currency revenue from overseas clients and pays 50+ staff and contractors locally in NGN. More clients and headcount means growing inflows and local payouts, and as a Lagos company Qwid’s Nigeria strength is an easy, credible fit. Francis is a reachable, bootstrapped founder.
08
Yempo Solutions
Michelle Fiegehen·Founder & CEO
Australian offshore-staffing / EOR provider building dedicated finance, accounting and IT teams in the Philippines and India.
SIGNAL DETECTED
July 2026: Yempo announced a 2026 Australia roadshow (24 Aug to 4 Sep), with Michelle Fiegehen personally touring Perth, Sydney and Melbourne to grow its base of Australian SMEs outsourcing to the Philippines.
WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR QWID
Yempo pays large monthly payrolls to hundreds of staff in the Philippines and India on behalf of Western SME clients, an AU/UK-to-Asia flow that is squarely Qwid’s bulk-payout and scheduled-payment use case. The roadshow signals it is actively scaling that volume. Worth a quick check it is not already running its own rails, then the pitch is simply better economics.
09
Vinova
Mike Nguyen·Founder & CEO
Singapore software house (~118 staff) building web, mobile and AI products, delivered largely via its dev team in Vietnam.
SIGNAL DETECTED
February 2026: Vinova announced continued expansion in Singapore and the United States through custom software and AI-driven solutions, a US push that grows both its client collections and its offshore-team activity.
WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR QWID
Vinova pays an engineering team in Vietnam from Singapore every month and bills international (US) clients, so it both pays and collects across borders on Qwid’s core Asia corridors. A founder-led shop of ~118 feels FX and timing directly. The Singapore-to-Vietnam payroll is the opening hook.
10
Urtopia
Owen Zhang·Founder & CEO
Hong Kong smart e-bike (and exoskeleton) startup selling across Europe and the US, built via Asian suppliers.
SIGNAL DETECTED
June 2026: Urtopia raised a ~$29.4M Series B led by Brizan Ventures to scale the business internationally.
WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR QWID
As a hardware company Urtopia pays contract manufacturers and component suppliers across Asia and collects sales revenue in EUR and USD, so virtual multi-currency accounts and cheaper supplier payouts hit two pains at once. A fresh Series B earmarked for international scale means rising cross-border volume, the right moment to place the rail. Owen is the founder-CEO.
04 / AI PERSONALISATION04 — 08
Emails that look written by hand.
The difference between an email that gets ignored and an email that gets a reply is rarely the offer itself, it is the first sentence. When a founder, CFO or head of finance opens an email and reads a line that names the exact team they pay in Manila, the producers they buy from in Niger, or the round they just closed, the email earns the right to keep going. Cold is Gold’s AI workflow extracts those facts at scale across thousands of companies, then weaves them into the opening line of each email so every message reads as if a human spent two minutes researching the recipient. No flattery, no horoscope copy, no “I came across your website” openings, just a precise, verifiable fact in the prospect’s own vocabulary, tied straight to the Qwid pitch.
The principle: when the decision-maker reads the email, they should think “this person looked into me”, not “this is a bot”. Every opening sentence cites a precise, verifiable fact in cross-border-payments vocabulary — payroll, contractors, payouts, FX, corridors, SWIFT, virtual accounts.
Here are the 3 types of signals we would use to personalise every email sent on your behalf, stacked from most-findable to most-personal so the AI pipeline always has a clean fallback.

Saw you’ve built a 350-strong engineering team out of Cebu, which is a serious US-to-Philippines payroll to move every month.
Most founders I speak to who run an offshore team say the same two things: the bank FX quietly eats the margin, and payday timing is never quite predictable once it goes through SWIFT.
We built Qwid so you can pay a whole team abroad in one go, on schedule, at rates that don’t drift on you, with a virtual USD account sitting behind it.
I put together a quick before/after on what your Cebu payroll could look like on Qwid. Want me to send it over for your take?

Please forgive the direct nature of my email but I was looking at your Parkstone Primary Retreat project, and I thought how you paired muted tones with natural textures looked incredibly smart.

Source IACatégorie produit précise (Japanese gin, single malt...), nom du produit phare, handle Instagram de la marque, persona d'audience cible (gin enthusiasts, whisky collectors...).
Forgive the direct email but we partner with creators who are really into Japanese gins, and who'd love to feature your Etsu Pacific Ocean Water bottle.
These creators are followed by thousands of gin enthusiasts — the kind who don't just drink it, they talk about it. The content they can produce will instantly grow your community on @etsugin and generate a lot of sales (ROI is positive in a few days).
May I show you a few of their profiles?

Bonjour Jeremy,
Laurianne

Phase 6
Reporting Ongoing
Good to know: phases 2, 3 and 4 run in parallel with the technical setup (phase 1). Concretely, during the 1-month technical warm-up we build your database and write your sequence — so the first emails go out from week 5.
Phase 1 — Technical setup
Creation of dedicated sending domains, SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration, opening and setting up the email addresses, launch of the warm-up (1 month). No action required on your side.
Phase 2 — Workshop (1h)
A structured working session to define together the structure of the database, the tone of voice for the emails, and to gather your case studies and key differentiators. This phase runs in parallel with phase 1 (Technical setup).
Phase 3 — Sequence copywriting
First draft, feedback rounds and optimisations with you, then layering in the AI personalisation (the signals shown above). We validate the overall email content with you before moving on to the database.
Phase 4 — Database build
We assemble a sample of prospects (like the 10 above) for you to validate. Once approved, we build the full database with quality control: field verification, contact qualification.
Phase 5 — Campaign launch
Sending starts as soon as the warm-up is complete. First results within the first week. Real-time tracking: open rate, reply rate, opportunities generated.
Phase 6 — Reporting & optimisation
Real-time reporting through our platform. Continuous adjustments and A/B testing on subject lines, opening sentences and sequences. Regular monthly or quarterly check-ins depending on results.

Our commitment
At least 38 qualified opportunities over 12 months. If missed → billing frozen until catch-up.
How the guarantee works in 3 clauses.
D0 · Launch
CLAUSE.01
Our commitment
We commit to generating at least — opportunities per month, i.e. — opportunities over — months. This target matches the low scenario of our projections (10% of our clients' campaigns).
M+1 · Check
CLAUSE.02
If we fall short of the target
As soon as a month closes below — opportunities, your billing is immediately frozen. Concretely: you stop paying from that month onwards, until we have fully caught up the cumulative shortfall. You never pay for a month where we don't deliver on our commitment.
M+3 · Limit
CLAUSE.03
If the shortfall persists over 3 consecutive months
Termination is possible at no cost. We keep working at our own expense during those 3 months of shortfall; beyond that, we acknowledge the failure and you are no longer billable for what follows.
Dynamic values
The figures shown in these clauses are not fixed: they are recalculated automatically based on the parameters set in your simulation above. The final contractual commitment will depend on the parameters validated together at the start of the engagement.
Contractual definition of an opportunity: a prospect responding positively to one of our prospecting emails — either an information request or a meeting request.
In addition to fees, 3 technical costs to plan for.
The first is a one-off investment that you own for life — your prospects remain yours, even if you stop working with us. The other two are monthly technical subscriptions, essential for any cold email campaign.

A FINAL WORD
This document is not a sales pitch. It is a projection built on the real numbers from our campaigns — the scenarios presented are not promises, they are averages observed across our clients.
Our method has been operational for several years. It works as soon as the fundamentals are in place: a clearly identified market, a differentiating positioning, a measured closing rate. Qwid has all three.
Our conviction is that we can install for you a steady stream of qualified cross-border payment opportunities over the next 12 months — with indicators we steer together, month after month.
Whenever you want to talk about it concretely, we are here.
